Fall Conference a Great Success

The Bolton Banter Club Banner was presented for the first time this past weekend in Niagara at the Saturday morning parade of banners. A weekend of workshops, speech contests and business concluded with an inspiring keynote by past TMI President Ted "Teddy" Corcoran.
Eric Solowka represented Northern Division in the Humorous Speech Contest. Ten excellent speakers participated in the qualifying round on Friday night and Eric, along with 5 others provided a strong field of contenders for Saturday's final. While Eric did not achieve his secondary goal of placing among the top three, he delivered an exceptional speech and achieved his primary objective....LOTS OF BEAR HUGS!. Rumour has it that Eric has already started working on a speech for the International Speech Contest.
